Sciath na Scol Final 2017

Sciath na Scol is a hurling and football competition. Every Tuesday and Thursday of last May, Mr. Horgan and Mr. Foley had trained us in the Tank Field, our home pitch.
We learned hurling skills like hitting the sliotar over the bar, catching the sliotar in the air and getting better with our touch.
We were so tired at the end of every training session but also we were ready for every match we played.
The first match we played, we won vs Midleton  C.B.S.  It was played in the Tank Field. It was a great start of the season.
The second match we played was against North Monastery in the Mon Field. It was a game that was tight but we really got stuck in and won by a few points.
Our third was against St. Johns up in the Tank Field. That games was easy for us because they didn’t have a strong team like our team. We won by lots of points.
Our fourth match was against St Patricks from Bandon. I wasn’t there for that game I had a lovely holiday instead of the game.
Then when I came back from holiday I heard that we made it to the final vs Midleton C.B.S down in Pairc ui Rinn. This final was one of my proudest sporting memories.
