School Prayer - St Patricks BNS

Our School Prayer

Saint Patrick’s Boys’ National School has had everything a school should have but a school prayer for a while now. At Saint Patrick’s Boys’ National School, we’ve had a school song and a motto but not a prayer. But thanks to a wonderful idea, Mr O’ Driscoll was allowed to create for us what we’ve needed, a school prayer!
Our school is taking their time learning off the prayer. Some classes such as Mr Walsh’s 5th Class recite it every day before they go home.

The prayer, if you wanted to learn it outside of school is this: (which I'm sure a lot of people do)

‘A Phádraig Naofa, we ask you to pray,
May we live in God’s love and follow His way,
May God bless us all as we work and play,
At home and at school, each and every day,
Father in Heaven, help us always to show love and care
at Scoil Phádraig Naofa Cnoc Ghardnéir.’
