The parents group are always looking for new ways to support the teachers and boys in their learning. Maybe you could help them with one of their many activities.
We really enjoy the bond we share with our Parents and many school initiatives have flourished because of their support and ideas.
Parents Group, we salute you!!

St Patrick’s has a vibrant Parents Association which works to support the interests of our Children with the Principal, Staff and Board of Management.

Our main task is to adapt a programme of activities which will encourage the involvement of parents in supporting their children’s schooling and to build a link between Home and School.
We play an important role in celebrating special events for the Boys and their families, as they move through their school years.

Some activities are to raise funds for the Association to support its activities and for the many extras needed by the school. Through our monthly meetings we provide an opportunity for parents to share evolving news and information.

We would like to thank everybody for their generosity, their goodwill and sentiment shown towards the school. But the biggest thanks must go to the bag packing volunteers for giving up their time on both dates especially on the date so close to Christmas while we were experiencing artic freezing conditions.

Again, this money is not for us the Association, it will be used to provide new and improved recreational and educational facilities for the boys’ within the school.

What we have done with your help:

Through our fundraising activities   we have been able to provide help and assistance with the following:

Contributed financially to provide bus transport for Away matches for the School Hurling Team

Help Santa organise his visit to the school and his presents.

Purchase Black Out Blinds for all the classrooms

Organise an information and welcome day for newly enrolled pupils and  their parents who are starting  next September

Purchased Literacy Lift Off Books.

New Sports kits

Organised the Coffee Morning after the School Christmas Mass.

Provide a complimentary Easter Egg to all the children.

Purchased and Installed an external notice board for communication purposes.

We are always examining the on-going needs for the boys and the school and are currently finalising our task list to where best we can channel the monies raised through our fundraising events since September.

We will keep you informed on where we are planning to allocate our funds and the cost associated with them.
