The school is located near the top of Gardiner's Hill, off Ballyhooly Road, on the northside of Cork City.
Gardiner's Hill can be accessed on Ballyhooly Road by St. Luke's Cross (at the top of Summerhill North) or on Old Youghal Road.
At the top of Gardiner's Hill there are two entrances to Saint Patrick's Boys, Saint Patrick's Girls and Saint Patrick's Infants School.
A house seperates the 2 entrances. The Boy's school is the smaller of these entrances with tall pillars.
