Third Class Hurling Blitz 2016
Hello my name is Daniel Heffernan and I am going to tell you about the third class hurling blitz that happened recently.
On the 2nd of March 2016 11 boys from third class went to play a hurling blitz in St. Vincent’s GAA club.
The 11 boys were Patrick O’ Mahony, Rhys Olotu, Adam O’ Halloran, James Trayner, Rueben Aigbologa, Darragh Maloney, Michael Curtayne, Seán Higgins, Conor Mullane and Jermaine Cuddihey and me.
Once we got there,we went inside to the hall and went to the dressing room and practised our skills to warm up.
When it was time to play, we played against Scoil Iosagàin first, then we played Gaelscoil and third we played North Mon. We came 3rd out of 6 teams . Mr Horgan encouraged us to win our last match and we did.
In the end, it was a great day and we were proud of our performance.
