Sixth Class School Tour
The sixth class school tour was one of the best school tours ever. It was a trip to Kinsale Outdoor Adventure Centre. We did a lot of activities including canoeing, kayaking, climbing, archery and zip-
Firstly we got split up into three groups. Our group did the water activities first. We got into our wetsuits provided by the leaders. Then we walked over to the harbour and got a boat over to the beach. When we reached there, we received oars and canoes from the leaders.
We found ourselves at a beach and we learned how to kayak. Next we started to go into the water. We rowed and rowed to a platform surrounded by water. We waited for the rest of the canoes to arrive. When they did, we jumped into the water. It was freezing cold. I never want to do anything like it again. We went back to the centre to have our lunch.
Next we went to an archery section. We split into four teams. On my team were my buddies, Cian Hendrick and Jason Hurley. Out of all the people, the best was Cian. Now to the climbing wall.
In this one we split into two groups. In my group I was the fastest to climb.
We took turns on the zip-
In conclusion I think that this was the best school tour of my life.

My time in St. Patrick's
I have had some amazing moments in St. Patricks' Boys School . My teachers in St. Patricks were Mrs. O Driscoll, Mr. Mullins, Mr. Lettis, Ms. Lohan, Ms. Mullane and Mr. Horgan. I have some great memories from my school life.
My favourite school tour was in 6th class. We went to Kinsale Outdoor Adventure Centre. I really enjoyed the archery and the water activities. It was the best school tour ever.
In 3rd class we made films. There were four films ''School Alone, Lunch Time Pals documentary, Christmas Cooking and the cheesy music videos''. I was in ''School Alone''. I had a great time. All the films were great fun.
Overall going to St. Patricks was a great experience and I made lots of friends. I wish my friends the best of luck and a happy future in secondary school.

The Spelling Bee
I had a brilliant time at the Eason’s Spelling Bee County Finals. It was a great experience. Here’s what happened:
Mr. Jeffers came into our classroom to talk about the Spelling Bee School Finals. I decided I might give it a go. So I did. The funny thing was that our teacher, Mr. Horgan, forgot to tell us about the practise sessions. I thought I didn’t have a chance.
Finally, the School Finals has arrived. We lined up in the hall and Mr. Jeffers and Ms. Mullane told us the rules. And we began.
We went on and on and on. Sighs, moans and cheers. Just before I got my forth word, I whispered to my friend, John Fitzgerald, behind me, “I’m 100% sure I’m going get this word wrong.” “Says who?” he replied. “Just believe in yourself. Just imagine that you’re looking at the word you got in a dictionary. Believe in yourself.” And I said, “You’re watching too many kid’s cartoons.”
It was my turn and I got it right using John’s tips.
Only three people left; myself, David Garvin and Stephen O’ Shea. Stephen he got it wrong. Next, David. Wrong as well. Now it’s me. I got CONTRADICT. I was scared stiff. And I started. C-
“You’re correct!” said Mr. Jeffers. Yes! “Our new Spelling Bee champion!” And Stephen came second.
About two weeks after, Mr. Jeffers gave me news that the Eason’s Spelling Bee County Finals is on the 14th April. I was like ... that’s quick! And he told me all the details.
It’s time. Today’s the day. I was so nervous. I was only waiting to go to Rochestown Park Hotel for Spelling Bee.
When it was time, I got ready to go. Last year, Mr. Jeffers typed up the words that were called out on his phone so he gave it to me and I studied the words for about 15 minutes.
OMG! We’re here! And we found ourselves in a room where the competition was held. I got a t-
First we got our pictures. Then all of the participants, including me, took a seat. At the start, we had a practise round. I got the word ADMIT.
After the practise round, we started the real thing. Just before, the judges explained the rules. And we began.
First, I got the word ADMIRE. I got it right! Unfortunately, some people got their word wrong. I felt really sorry for them. The next word was CHEMISTRY. I nearly got a heart-
A few others got words wrong again. My third word was ANTICIPATE. “A-
Mr. Jeffers told me that himself and Stephen started shouting at the judge. Quietly. In shock, we went back to school.
On the back, we stopped at Spar to get our lunch.
Just to finish this off, I only want to repeat one thing; A-
